Corralejo Beaches - Fuerteventura

The huge beach of Punta Prieta, better known as Flag Beach, is one of Corralejo's favorite beaches, with its turquoise waters and white sand, 1300 meters long and more than 300 meters wide, it is located between Corralejo and the Riu hotels and it is easy to get there on foot, walking right outside the city or by car.

Thanks to the protection of Lobos Island from storms, Flag Beach is the main spot in the north of the island for practicing numerous nautical sports such as: Windsurfing, Kitesurfing, Surfing, SUP, Bodyboarding, Catamaran, kayaking and more. There is also a water sports center called Flag Beach where you can learn to surf and rent equipment. However, you must pay close attention to the rocks that emerge from the water when the tide is low. The wonderful Flag Beach brings together athletes, tourists, locals, families with children and, in the northernmost part, also welcomes many naturists.

Thanks to its large size it is never crowded!

It has two areas with paid sunbeds and umbrellas (€12 for two sunbeds and an umbrella) so that people can relax and enjoy the peace of the place and a small beach bar right next to the surf school.

It is undoubtedly one of the most important, impressive and evocative beaches on the island with a spectacular panorama, thanks also to the beauty of the islet of Lobos, which can be admired right in front, creating a postcard backdrop. This place offers countless attributes such as its natural pools that form at low tide where we can swim in complete safety and its corralitos, small constructions of volcanic stones for greater privacy and protection on the windiest days.
